I think I have seasonal fandom affective disorder, y'all.

Because every fall I start to miss Remus and Sirius and I want to write stories about scarves, leaves, pumpkin juice, jacket pockets, boys being boys. And then in the spring I want the Doctor and Rose in the rain, under the cherry blossoms, stargazing on the first clear night. The summer's good for them too, because I want them road-tripping and in deserts and waterfalls.

And now that it's really hot outside, I keep looking around and thinking "Damn, where is Jack Sparrow ? I miss that magnificent jackass."

I think I should go dunk my head in the pool.

He's hiding behind the waterfall getting an eyeful of the Doctor and Rose.

this is a good disorder, nostalgia brings EPIC FANFICS. (at least that's what brings great art out of me, so I figure it must be the same for you! btw, still plan to do more on that one of yours, just am moving right now so haven't drawn anything for a month (HORROR))

fanfics which I will laugh and cry over.

but no pressure or anything. XD

I am the SAME way. I have an original fic going on that I can only add to in the fall. It never fails. Mostly because it takes place in the fall and with halloween around that time. But any other time of year and it's massive writer's block.

Sometimes I'm picking a dvd to watch and I pause and think "I miss Pirates" before chosing something I haven't seen yet. Next time, I think I'll pick the PoC movies for a rewatch.

Seasonal Fandom Affective Disorder is a serious illness, bb.
One whose only scientific cure so far has been epic crossovers of epic proportions.
Taken twice daily with a glass of THE DOCTOR AND ROSE TRAVELING PLACES AND MEETING ALL OF THE ABOVE CHARACTERS. In the rain. Smelling of cherry blossoms.

Trust Me On This, lol.

Off topic, but have you ever seen David Tennant try to hula hoop?

If you go to 3:40, you'll discover that he absolutely cannot, on account of having no hips :D The gyration does not go unappreciated, though!

The whole video is actually quite entertaining, and there's also a series of amusing screencaps and captions here:

Enjoy! :D
