I am cranky and sore. My nose hurts. It hurts like I've been punched, although I am certain I have not been punched; unless I am under a mind-wiping control spell triggered by a childhood song, like Spike was. Hmm. One never knows. WHAM !

Owwwwww. Maybe I slept on it wrong. If it still hurts tomorrow morning, I'm going to see the doctor; like they're not tired of my mug yet. ;)


Current Veronica Mars Status: Really Fucking Cheesed Off. The Logan torture has resurfaced, big-time; and not epic torture anyway, no sweeping adventure and conspiracy, where he is so hot and mixed up, ahhhh; but small torture, humiliations, like flunking a project that he worked hard on and getting laughed at in class. I mean, really ? Rob Thomas, I get it: you don't like Logan;. You want him to suffer. You think that's funny.

I don't. Nor do I find amusement in harassing puppies, treading on the backs of people who are already down, or kicking the unconscious. This season has done shit for Logan. Recent spoilers make it abundantly clear that's not going to stop anytime soon.



But. Did you really have to bring Keith into it ? For anyone who hasn't seen the opening, Veronica and Piz are on screen in her room, studying/snuggling, and Daddy Mars comes in to crack a joke; making sure on the way out to drop a ine that boils down to "Logan's dumb." (Nice that you have a gentleman caller with more to talk about than how high the waves are breaking;, or very close to that phrasing.)

So, surfers are dumb ? Logan's dumb? Logan's not even on-screen ! Logan's not involved. Nobody had even referenced Logan already. The last time we saw Logan and Keith interact, it was grudging respect and understanding for their mutual object of affection. Now, Keith is cracking jokes about Logan's depth and intellect in front of Veronica's new boyfriend ?

I feel like RT has gone crazy with the idea of using characters as mouthpieces for whatever opinion he happens to hold at the time. Keith has more class than to insult the man who saved his daughter, repeatedly. Keith just has more class, period.

Bah. I suppose fanfiction was created for just such character assassinations... or was it to perform character assassinations ? Sometimes I get muddled on that. Kidding, I love fanfic. Hmm. I'm going to write a fic called The Day My Nose Didn't Hurt.

That day would be an awesome day.

I've never wanted to take a show away from a creator as much as I want to take VM away from Rob Thomas. At the risk of being wanky and fannishly entitled etc, he doesn't *deserve* those characters; they're too good for him.

I think the worst part is that he still thinks he's a genius even though he's putting out this crap. Not only was a severly pissed off about the dig at Logan, but since when does Keith let a guy tangle his legs with Veronica's in her bedroom? Remember when he met Troy? Or when he told Duncan that he hoped Wallace won? RT is not only assassinating Logan, but he's fucking up all the other characters too. And I hate him for it.

Okay. Need to calm down now.
