Selfish things first, because we're all just cavemen with digital wristwatches: I called my cousin and she's okay. My heart goes out to anyone who is counting cousins and comes up short. It's a nightmare I can't imagine.


It's not fair, not right; not going to prove anything except this: that the people who are saving lives, and giving blood, and calling for friends' families, are so much better and stronger than the ones who did it.
