I'm alive.

lol sex

I am a slow-moving object, though. I've been sick on-and-off for like two weeks, and I'm mostly just exhausted. Uncharacteristically exhausted. So, doctor's appointment tomorrow, hopefully they will just laugh at me kindly and tell me to eat more fruit or something.

Working on fic. Slowly. Steadily. Not going to win any races. But you know me, it's not the destination, it's the journey. Actually, no. It's the overuse of metaphor.

Miss you guys. :)

APPLES. EAT SOME APPLES.

And drink some apple juice. Because it's delicious and promotes strong bones and is way tastier than milk. I might also be craving some and wanting to live vicariously through you by having you drink it when I can't, but, lol. Semantics.

Working on fic.

THIS FIC. Does it rhyme with...Shmalender?

I have been eating apples, on your advice, and they are crunchy and delicious. ♥ I feel better! Although it is not in my nature to want to keep the Doctor away.

Oh God, fic, I don't even. There are too many half-finished things and not enough... finishing. DDDD:

I've been eating them, too, bb! WE ARE CONVALESCING TOGETHER. Only you had a cold and I just last night burned my tongue HORRIBLY on a molten lava hot chocolate mon oncle served me last night WITHOUT WARNING.

Still, they say the friends who heal by eating crunchy and delicious apples together, stay together, so we're good to go.

lolllll can you imagine what his patients would have to go through if the Doctor were actually a doctor doctor and not just smarter than your average one? They would be just picking up the phone to call him about little Timmy exhibiting symptoms of the flu and he would be in their living room already, going on about the wonderful traits of TIME and TRAVELING in it if only it weren't for those slippery bits that throw one's normally PERFECT AIM off just a smidge, and meanwhile he's performing 49th century EKG's on the Timster and waving the sonic around his left foot and standing RIGHT in front of fucking Spongebob or Blue's Clue's or whatever it is little Timmy's watch these days, God, mum, it's just the FLU. Because clearly if he were a doctor doctor as well as being a Doctor Doctor for, say, a moderately sized town outside of London, because he'd always wanted to try it out and had angsty complicated Time Lordish reasons for taking a break from traveling farther than to Sir Galahad's estate 6 miles outside the town when his old health starts acting up again (as if it were a horse! oh sir galahad), he could accidentally park in a certain pink and yellow girl's kitchen and SUDDENLY THIS IS BECOMING AN AU I WOULD DO DIRTY ROTTEN THINGS TO READ SO I WILL STOP BEFORE I GET TO SIR GALAHAD'S IT'S GONE SO FAR.

Aw, tongue. :(

GO TO GALAHAD'S
GO THERE
GO TO THAT PLACE

Don't turn your back on an amazing AU, he should be a doctor doctor, oh man do this right now.

Cool story: I AM EATING AN APPLE RIGHT NOW, AS I TYPE.

An even cooler story is that I was eating it two seconds ago, when I read your reply, which I probably should have started off with. But whatevs.

Less cool story: EATING APPLES DOES NOTHING TO HEAL BURNED TASTE BUDS. Still totally legit way of subduing colds, though, never fear.

LOL LOL LOL I WOULD HAVE TEA EVERY TUESDAY AT GALAHAD'S WHILE THE DOCTOR AND ROSE GO ON DATE NIGHT BUT THE LAST THING I TRIED TO WRITE CAME OUT LIKE THIS, SO NEEDLESS TO SAY I AM FAR TOO DEEPLY ASHAMED TO EVER TRY WRITING AGAIN.

Or at least for another 50 years or so. SADLY, THIS AU WILL DIE WITH THESE COMMENTS.

Dude. Seasonal affective disorder. I have it bad. Don't even want to get out of bed most mornings, and my energy level for the rest of the day is zilch. I am not generally like this, like, EMPHATICALLY. I'm working on it though, just really forcing myself to get out and about, and it's helping. Took a long walk on the river today, and have felt better ever since. You should look into it, it might explain your exhaustion/icky-feelingness.

Yeah, SAD sucks. My mom has it pretty bad, and she lives north of winter, but recently she got one of those sun lamps and is actually doing better! It helps her to get out and moving, too. I'm glad to hear you're coping, I know (at least second-hand) how it can be.

As it turns out, I had a sinus infection (among other things) and I've been running a low-grade fever for about a week. I was pretty worn down. I'm feeling way better than I was last weekend, thanks to some drugs and some rest and some fresh air (in that order!) Thanks for the good vibes and the good advice. :)

Oh my... bloody gosh.

I do apologise.

For some reason... I saw this post on my flist and I thought you were someone else. You have a similar kind of icon to another friend of mine who as far as I know is not into Sherlock and for some reason I mixed you up with her. I am so sorry.

And please, feel better.
