Headline: J/E Challenge Goes Horribly Right For Authoress

Holy shit, dudes ! I just went over to J/E Challenge (je_challenge on lj) and had this vague feeling that something was going to something today (like, end, or begin, or something.)

As it turns out, today was the day the winners for challenge #9 were announced, and I was first ! A shocking, delicious first. For "The Pearl River." And I am really sorry for bragging, I am actually honestly sorry, but I am just so joyful right now. I have never, ever "won" a fic challenge or contest before. It has made me incredibly happy. And excited about writing more.

Thanks for listening, y'all. You are the ones who encourage me, and I'd have to say that this is all your fault. :)
