This man will be our President. Tireless, exceptional, and so very human.

I could not even type for crying last night. I opened the window and heard celebrating in the street- car horns, pots and pans banging, people cheering.

The things we say we believe in- equality, liberty, opportunity- they're not hollow statements. They have meaning and power. There is so much work to be done to get this country back on track, but for the first time I feel like we can do it.

Together.

YES.

I didn't even go hear a computer last night. I was one of those people on the street. Forget the car horns -- the streets were so crowded in Harlem that cars couldn't even pass!

I am so amazed right now.

POTS AND PANS ! Or at least clapping and singing. That's what I heard, and yeah... it made me tear up. Everything did, Tuesday night. It was one of those moments when you realize that you're living history, not in a pretentious way- but like, being the little people part of a big something that shows up in textbooks and scrapbooks and college papers.

I keep pausing in my day and thinking OMG and then having to get back to my spreadsheet. :D
