I am so proud of you, America. I am so proud of us.
More of her work can be found right here.

This man will be our President. Tireless, exceptional, and so very human.
I could not even type for crying last night. I opened the window and heard celebrating in the street- car horns, pots and pans banging, people cheering.
The things we say we believe in- equality, liberty, opportunity- they're not hollow statements. They have meaning and power. There is so much work to be done to get this country back on track, but for the first time I feel like we can do it.
Together.

Date: Wednesday, November 5th, 2008 03:05 pm (UTC)I didn't even go hear a computer last night. I was one of those people on the street. Forget the car horns -- the streets were so crowded in Harlem that cars couldn't even pass!
I am so amazed right now.
